🔧 Underbelly / waste-plumbing repair reference
Current repair (trailering damage, July 2026): underbody hang-up bent the drain-pipe junction area, tore the sheet-metal shield, and ripped off the angled retainer bar that braces the (heavy, ~150 lb full) gray tank.
- Retainer bar = flat steel brace → straighten & re-bolt, or fab a new one from equal flat stock. It's structural — real bolt, not wire.
- Cushion pipe clamp = generic, likely reusable if the rubber's intact. Replace via McMaster (measure pipe OD + bolt spacing) only if torn.
- Sheet-metal shield = debris cover, not structural. Straighten / re-fab locally (no Roadtrek parts counter since 2019).
- Black valve/junction fitting = Valterra-style molded outlet, 3" bayonet — looked intact.
